These recycled glass buttons from Indonesia have an almost meditative quality--they fairly glow when the light hits them! These are in an electric azure blue and sea green. I've surrounded them with more recycled glass in cornflower blue and paler sea green, handmade lampwork spacers in pale celadon and powder blue, and rough-hewn dark mint green aventurine. I created the framework underneath from heavy gauge copper wire, and melted and hammered the headpins holding each button in place, and antiqued it all to a warm glow. I was ridiculously happy to find silk ribbon in my stash that matched exactly--soft Caribbean blue and green! I finished it off with short lengths of a unique "peanut" link chain.
This necklace measures 18" long, but can be lengthened or shortened to suit you for no additional charge--just convo me.
