My ceramics are food-, oven- and microwave safe. However, verdigris glaze, while completely safe, does not tend to look good if you get citrus juice (or vinegar, or other acidic substances) on it. It might leave behind a slight “ghost” mark. Thus it’s better to use this bowl for containing dry items. Wash with warm soapy water and dry the piece by hand as it is gentler on the glaze surface.
