Looking for a no-fray flower choice that isn't limp and floppy? The Hannah flower is a fun, no-sew project that will have you beautifying your hair, shoes, coats and purses in no time!
You'll use thin natural fabrics such as cottons and silks (this flower looks particularly beautiful and keeps its shape well with light silks!). There's no melting or burning involved. You'll love the permanent and dimensional results.
Please note this is NOT an actual book, but an electronic document that will be sent to your e-mail account as a PDF file.
You'll learn the following techniques with step-by-step instructions and 40 photographs:
*How to make the Hannah flower out of cotton or silk (even light chiffons)
*How to attach it to a clip
*How to line a pinch clip
*How to mount your flowers to a headband - either a fold-over elastic headband for babies or a hard, skinny headband for older girls or adults (elastic headband application does involve simple sewing)
*How to make a "crown" headband out of dimensional petals.
Traceable, computer-drawn pattern pieces are included.
In addition to fabric, glue, scissors and other basic supplies, you'll also need double-stick fusible web and your kitchen! :)
