This is a very cool vintage necklace. It looks very Asian inspired to me, if it isn't actually Chinese made, there's something about the flower-shaped box clasp.... And I'm no gemologist so I'm not sure about the small round green beads. They look very jade like to me but I'm pretty sure they're glass. They're joined in this necklace with larger beads set off by filigree bead caps, that I'm sure are not the semi precious stones they're mimicking--rose quartz, carnelian, turquoise, yellow jade and lapis. They're all glass except for the highly carved "turquoise" bead. That feels like plastic.
It is 22 3/4" long and the small jade-like beads are about 5mm. It is not signed. I believe it is from the 1940's or 50's. A beautiful necklace
