It has been both sanded and stained by hand so that water will not damage it if left out in the rain.
It holds up to 500 lbs (as long as the branch doesn't break).
It can be set up and taken down within a few minutes. Simply loop the two pieces of rope over the branch, adjust the height with a single knot on each ropes and you're good to go. The knot only needs to be tied once. Once the desired height has been found, taking the seat hammock up and down will not require any further knot tying or untying. Four simple monkey fist knots make the seat hammock easy to put and down without tying any knots. They attach to designated parts of the seat hammock so that no knot tying is required after the initial two knots for height adjustment are tied.
