Here is an exciting, more contemporary piece which is crafted from wild cherry and stands proud on laminated cherry legs. The vessel body is finished with beautiful colored dyes and several coats of buffed lacquer. The rim is turned from bloodwood and the finial is made from instrument grade African Blackwood. The finial is topped with a cherry embellishment and finished in buffed lacquer. The finial has hand cut threads which make for a simple and secure closure.
This piece has a capacity of 75 cubic inches. It measures 11-1/2 inches tall and 8-1/4 in diameter. It could be used as a gallery piece or a very special cremation urn. You will be very pleased with the quality of this sculpture.
