Do you have flashbacks of the 1960's Batman show starring Adam West? Are you a closet cape wearer? or Are you just a Batman and Robin groupie? If you answered yes to those questions you are not alone. This very detailed replica of the 1960s batmobile down to the batphone and stick shift inside was upcycled into a memory device for data storage or file sharing. This model kit is a 1/25 scale of the original batmobile, equipped with batman and robin minifigures and detailed to the bat signal on the tire rims. This is not a metallic die cast model. In fact, because it's plastic, the parts are quite fragile, which would explain why the hood ornament is missing. The dashboard was decorated freely, not with the suggested gauge stickers, but with more visible alternate license plate images (in case they need to switch cars, since nothing else, not even their capes would give away the duo).
Machinery was used to custom generate a bumper extension (this is NOT part of the kit--the diamond plated pattern projection was custom designed for this vehicle) to accommodate a USB drive. Spacing was generated for electronic components, accommodating 16GB of data storage from music to movies to photos of your self posing nude with your cape only. What, am I alone here? This is the most souped-up batmobile I have ever upcycled to an electronic gadget. The wheels turn freely if you'd like to take your files for a spin, and the batmobile will come with a complimentary extension cable in case for any USB port, see figure 5. Batmobile appears as BATDRIVE on desktop, shown on a macbook pro, not included with purchase. Batdrive is compatible with any pc or mac desktop or laptop computer, though I would recommend OS 10.4+ on mac. Batdrive is just under 10" long, 3.5" from tire housings width, and 2.5" tall from the platform to the roof siren.
PLEASE READ: This batmobile was recycled into a functional electronic gadget, and may have imperfections due to machinery manipulation. Hood ornament, as mentioned was sacrificed to make product, and dashboard was decorated to taste by rubber and fragile, water soluble stickers that appear worn--they actually dissolved while the application set. Though recycled, this vehicle has never been used as a batdrive, and as far as I can see does not have any visible or large noticeable scratches on it. The plastic windshield in some places appears foggy, but the kit I repurposed and modified came like this. Again, the back bumper was modified, and parts were included that are NOT part of the authentic kit to support electronic devices. Please keep in mind this is not manufactured as a USB drive, and was decorated, modified, drilled, assembled, and made by hand.
