An unusual antique Victorian photo pendant or fob with hand-tinted images on both sides. The double-sided pendant is thick and rimmed with the coiled edging that was typical of the era. Prongs hold two glass panes in place, protecting the photographs underneath. The photos depict a young boy (3 or 4 years old) and an older boy (12 or 13 years old). These two might be brothers or they might be the same child. The piece is plated in rose gold with some areas of wear or tarnish. There is no chipping to the glass and the piece is in excellent condition for its age. A sentimental, colorful piece.
I will add a 16", 18" or 20" gold plated, double link rolo chain. Just let me know what length you prefer at check out.
Note: The glass can be removed and the photos replaced if you like. I would suggest having this done by a jeweler to minimize damage.
