Wheel-thrown, flared, globular bowl or vessel with a hand-carved veil of raindrops on the exterior. The verdigris turquoise glaze with gunmetal highlights gives the piece an ancient patina. I painstakingly carved each individual raindrop in a pattern that spreads out as the piece widens. The interior is glazed in kind of a pistachio green. The foot is really pretty (see photo).

Can be used as an elegant decoration, as a vase, or to serve food. One of a kind. Signed. High-fired stoneware.

Clay color: White
Glaze: verdigris (turquoise) and pistachio
Dimensions: Diameter: 5” / 6" at widest point / Height: 4.75”


** Additional information about the proper care of ceramics **

My ceramics are food-, oven- and microwave safe. Wash with warm soapy water and dry the piece by hand as it is gentler on the glaze surface.
