Flower Seed Wedding Favor

The 200 plantable hearts are chock full of a mix of perennial and annual flower seeds embedded right in the paper — confetti you can grow. Add to table settings and wedding favors for a pop of color. Scattered on tables they make a wonderful decoration that guests can take home.
We've been making plantable paper for over 10 years and we are proud of the quality of our paper and know you will be too. It is the most generously seeded plantable paper you'll find on etsy.

Seeds are fresh and hand-gathered for planting in 2012 through 2013. Seeds included in the paper are listed in the materials section below. They are a mix of annuals, for first year color, and perennials for blooms in the years to follow. Daisies, poppies, snapdragons, zinnia, cosmos, dianthus/Sweet William, asters, cornflowers, forget-me-nots, calendula, marigolds, and columbine. Planting instructions are included. They really do grow - that's a sprout growing right out of the plantable paper in the photo at the right. With every order, we can email you a pretty PDF of planting instructions cards that you can print out and use with the hearts.

SIZE: just about 1 inch square - quarter size.
Package of 200, or 17 cents each for additional hearts. Available in a wide variety of colors, see list below.

White, cream, beige, tan, brown, pale yellow, sunshine yellow, dark/mustard yellow, butterscotch, light baby blue, medium/cornflower blue, faded navy/dark blue, light baby pink, dark/hot pink, rose, merlot/burgundy, red, peach, salmon/orange, burnt orange, chartreuse, kiwi, mint green, grass/kelly green, dark green, olive, seafoam green, aqua/turquoise, light lavender/lilac, and purple.
Other colors are available by request, too. We make each batch of hearts new and fresh to order, so let us know what type of color you'd like and we'll make them that way! The first picture shows a sample of typical colors we make.
Please let us know in the notes to seller box at checkout which color/s you'd like.
A rainbow assortment of plantable hearts is often available too. If no colors are specified, the rainbow assortment, based on colors in stock at the time of your order, will be sent automatically.

*** We have a vacation scheduled for June. You may still shop, and place orders, however NO orders will ship from June 10 - July 2. If you are ordering after May 27, your order will not ship until at least July 5. If you have concerns or need a rush order sooner than this, please contact me first. There is a $28 rush order charge that is necessary for faster delivery.***
Summer wedding orders are filling up quickly. Current wait time (as of May 2012) after an order is placed, is 3-4 weeks before an order ships. Whenever possible, such as for advance orders, I time the production and shipment of the paper to arrive about 2-3 weeks before the event date to ensure they arrive with plenty of time to assemble, and are also maximum freshness. Please let me know when you need to receive your order by.
Shipping is via Priority mail for all US addresses.
