2 Vintage Chairs are covered with a pale celery green printed fabric, straw yellow colored foulard type print. They have a horseshoe shaped back, the back is padded with fabric covered buttons, 'tufted' back, very cushiony. Ornamental carved details on wood legs and seat back.
Chairs are in good vintage condition, they have been used and have some imperfections. Finish on wood is splotchy, minor scuffs, some spots on fabric a few tears (see photos). The overall look of the 2 chairs is very good, the fabric tears are in the back. All imperfections were there when I got them. They are sold as is.
The chairs are very comfortable with a good seat size for sitting, even for a tall person. The cushion is wide and the depth makes for a comfortable fit, seat back is a nice height. They're reminiscent of 1940's-1960's feminine style boudoirs, I am not sure of their era. Good quality construction and very sturdy. Underneath the seat bottom is lined in black fabric-see photo. Chair Fabric has a nice thick feel, color is soft and muted, fabric has a slight sheen. I do not know the content of the fabric.
Cushion seats are shaped to fit in chair and can be removed (see photo), cushions measure 21 back to front and 24.5 at widest point.
