The steel rod is surprisingly easy to manipulate into fluid and natural shapes and going up just gives me more room to play. The use of different sizes adds to the organic nature of the work. And please note that because the rod can be bent it retains some elasticity and therefore there is some motion as you build up. If you look closely I've added attachment pts for the headboard to go to the wall if the customer desires. Not necessary but I can think of one scenario where it might be nice to keep the noise down.
These images (sorry for their lighting weirdness) are of a queen size based upon a customer's requests. You may have this bed with the head and foot board as you prefer. The headboard is shown as 78" tall. The foot board is 68" tall. Again, you may request your own dimensions. Much taller might cost more for shipping reasons.
Which brings up the shipping. It's a bit more than the other beds because it's tall and I'm going to strap it to a piece of thin plywood. Easy to undo with a carpet knife or scissors.
Assembly is easy. In addition to the head and foot boards you get two cross supports. All go together with bolts, nuts and a little wrench that is provided. 15 minutes.
add $100 for either King Size. $1200
Same cost for Double/Full. $1100
If you like, the Delia Dingles can be added. Inquire.
You are welcome to email with questions. I enjoy making the beds to match the needs of each customer. .
