Primitive Heart In Hand Make-Do!
I'm presenting a Make-Do Heart In Hand pincushion. It would look great in a nice display of Witch, Halloween, or Gothic items.
The Heart In Hand pincushion measures about 15 inches tall from the base of the black wooden candlestick holder to the tip of the fingers.
The hand has been stuffed, painted black, sanded, and then waxed for an 'old leather' look. I love the feel of this technique.
At the base of the hand there is a generous gathering of black and orange gingham checked homespun cloth, orange and black ribbons, and raffia. There's also a tag and a little rusty heart hanging beside the tag.
In the center of the hand is a red heart and inside of the heart is a rusty heart button.
