a mini set of drawers! this miniature is completely handmade. each drawer is made from a perfectly cut sardine sardine. someone has to eat a lot of fish to make this beauty. even though it's super primitive, it's really well made. a lot of attention was put into the tins to the mini drawer fronts & the addition of the tiny knobs. the rest of the chest of drawers is made from solid wood. it's been painted a fantastic seafoam green. all the drawers fit nicely & open & close easily. this was probably made in the 50's or before.
we're pretty sure this item is one of a kind! would made a great jewelry box, or perfect for storing little treasures & small parts. a pretty solid piece, good condition considering the age, the only issues are with the paint. it looks pretty neat as is, but it looks like someone started to re-finish it and sanded off some of the paint on some parts of the drawers.
