Different textiles keep me interested in trying to come up with something new . Something never tried before could be tomorrow's new "fabulous"
I have seen Faux Ostrich Fur before but wanted to work with it to find out how the fabric behaved. Experimenting with Faux Ostrich Fur gave me the opportunity to see if it could be a viable option for high couture fashion for small dogs.
Finding out that this fabric is handwashable is a great feature. This option will give me more reasons to try it out in future projects. It is lined with premium anti pill black fleece, a beautiful color combination. It is truly a work of art crafted using intense hours of precise machine/hand sewing techniques. Every seam has been looked and overlooked to make sure all the faux fur is brought through to the right side of the garment. By doing this, it gives the edges a clean edge with no bulk and no faux fur seen wedged in between the seams.
The black D-ring is attached using white webbing with clear/silver seed beads and a flat silver leaf type decorations placed on top of the webbing for decoration.
The matching hat has trim of a matching pink feather boa. The hat was the most labor intensive and I will need about a week from start to finish for both. Don't like the hat? I can leave that out. Check with me on pricing.
This custom design can be made using hook and loop tape sewn in or snaps as shown in the picture.
