This Bakelite fan is rare find! It works great and produces a powerful breeze. It turns on when you plug it in. The motor is in wonderful condition-- it has been disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. The Bakelite frame has it's ORIGINAL glossy chocolate brown finish, while the cage has been painted in a bright enamel white. *This fan has been rewired, and has an upgraded black fabric-covered cord. It has a retro-style plug (to keep with the period look of the fan).
