This lovely dirndl ensemble is the real deal - a lovely set from the mid-century. The dress itself is red cotton in a classic hourglass shape, whose neckline hits at the center bust. The elasticized blouse hem hits just at the bra line. The cotton blouse buttons up the front (it's missing two metal buttons) - it has eyelet-trimmed sleeves and an eyelet-trimmed front placket. The apron has extra long ties. Both the dress and apron have contemporary embellishments that match the feel of the ensemble and the dress has been taken in slightly. Note measurements below.

CONDITION:
There is one small spot on the back bodice of the dress. The blouse has the most wear of all the pieces in the ensemble - I believe it to be the oldest. The sleeves have some minor staining and (as mentioned above) the front is missing two of the metal buttons, but those are an easy replacement.
