This lovely waistcoat is made up in a truly beautiful silk Damask in a regal soft gold colour, lovely and light unlike many fabrics of this type. Featuring the classic scrolling leaves and flowers often seen on fabrics of this era. The waistcoat is fully lined and backed in pale gold satin. The waistcoat has a slightly notched neckline and cut away front fastening with gold buttons with creamy, white centres. The side seams have short vents to allow for ease of movement. The colour would be look lovely teamed with buff breeches and various shades of frock coat would compliment the gold of the waistcoat beautifully. The silk used for this waistcoat is of the highest quality. I have worked with some truly beautiful fabrics in my time but this has to be one of the nicest it really is stunning.
