This watch was made in Uglich Watch Factory. The factory is situated approximately 120km north north east from Moscow in Uglich on the river Volga. “Chaika” was a brand mainly used to small movement womens watches but some mens watches were also made under the “Chaika” brand including quartz watches in the early 1980s.
Mechanical movement, manual winding. Made in USSR.
Case diameter: 0,6” (1,6 cm).
Each part of the strap is about 2,7” (7 cm) long.
NOTE: All watches I’m selling are mechanical – it means, that every watch uses mechanical mechanism to measure the passage of time (no battery required), as opposed to modern quartz watches which function electronically.
