This time of year, fields are full of ripe pumpkins, all shapes and sizes and shades of orange. Pumpkins for pie, for carving, for kids to decorate, for the front porch and table. Fun!
This skein of yarn is a luscious 80% Superwash Blue Faced Leicester, with 20% nylon for strength. It has a tight, bouncy twist and takes color beautifully. With 400 yards (100 grams) per skein, it should be enough for a pair of most women's socks.
Although the BFL in this yarn is superwash, hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry for best results and to extend the life of your finished creation. This yarn has been rinsed a minimum of three times after dyeing, but may still bleed slightly on its first washing.
Currently, yarn is dyed one at a time or in small batches, but if you would like to order multiple skeins for a larger project, I will be happy to dye to order with every attempt made to match skeins as closely as possible. Also, although every attempt has been made to represent colors in photographs, individual monitors may vary.
This yarn was dyed in smoke-free premises. There are two cats and a dog, but they are not allowed to play in the fiber, which is stored in plastic bags and covered bins.
