This lonely cup was part of the tea set but missing a saucer. I thought it's not a good enough reason to throw away the cup and painted it anyway. To coordinate with gold trim I decided to paint it in warm ochre and orange colors with bursts of green to give it a truly autumn feel. The design is a wrap around variation on Grass Fields with abundance of Milky cone-cap (Conocybe lactaea) and a couple of Amanita (red ones) mushrooms.

Dimensions:
Cup: 3' tall x 3 1/4" diameter


Paint contains no toxic ingredients and conforms to ASTM D-4236. This cup is fired on a high temperature and is therefore fit for daily use.
It is dishwasher-safe, but I can't guarantee the colors remain as vivid as they are now in the long run. So just a bit of hot water and soap will keep this cup in good shape!
