Clear bright quilt has beautiful colors, looks like celebration flags in the wind. Bold improvisational design, made during the blizzard of January 2011 in Connecticut. Gorgeous fabrics include Kaffe Fassett fabrics from Westminster, Kona solids and olive green damask.
Aim a spotlight on this quilt or place a lamp nearby for stunning effect! Modern, one-of-a-kind wedding gift. Could also be child's wall quilt or blankie. Oh my!
Machine pieced and quilted with wavy parallel lines 1-2" apart with medium olive green quilting thread. The 1/4" binding is neatly hand-sewn on the back. Quality workmanship. I've been quilting since 1966.
All materials are excellent quality 100% cotton. This new quilt has a crisp smooth feel. If you prefer the softer, slightly puckered look of a vintage quilt, simply wash on gentle setting and dry flat (or in dryer with low heat.) If you prefer, I'll wash it for you. My home is smoke free and pet free.
This quilt has a hanging sleeve on the back, along the top of the quilt. If you want to hang your quilt, simply insert a straight curtain rod (or a dowel) into this tube. Put two nails in the wall that protrude about an inch, then place the rod on the nails. Your quilt will hang nice and flat and straight. You can see this sleeve in Photo #3.
All of my quilts are signed and dated with a label on the back.
If you would also like a custom label, just write your text in the special instructions box when you check out and I'll attach a label to the back for you. (For example: "Congratulations Jack and Amy, Love Mom and Dad, 2011") Giftwrap available. Both complimentary.
If you're not satisfied, just notify me within 30 days and return it for a full refund. I want you to be delighted with your quilt.
