These are tiny SAMPLES, please see photos at right and read measurements and weights below
The liquid perfume is in a base of organic grain alcohol from a local supplier, the glass vial contains .25 grams of pure perfume extract. 1 gram is equal to .036 ounces, the measurement is by weight not volume. The solid is in a base of local beeswax, sometimes from my hives with organic jojoba seed oil. The solid perfume sample is contained in a pink pot with the iconic honey bee wax seal. The size of the pot is 1 inch wide x 3/4 inch high. There is at least .5 grams of solid perfume, by weight, in the container sometimes more.
Both the vial and pot are enclosed in a pillow box with a wax seal and four informational cards. This makes a very pretty sample set for ones self or to give as a gift. These samples provide ample amounts for testing and altar-ing your consciousness. An altar to your essential nature
The synergy for the perfume is made with essential oils, c02 extracts and absolutes (Resins, Wood, Leaves, and Flowers) with many of my own unique accords. Hedera helix is the botanical name for Ivy. This perfume was originally created as a special commission in April of 2007. Ivy is one of the sacred trees of the Celtic forest and part of the Tree Ogham. The structure of the fragrance has the characteristics of a Chypre with a very classy air. The oakmoss and resins in the base give the liquid perfume some powerful longevity. The aromatic notes are woven very tightly. Descriptive words include: mossy, green, floral Chypre. I utilized many essences with a green profile as well as those that come from green leaves like Geranium, Peach Leaf, Rhododendron Leaf, and Violet Leaf. On the skin of those who have tested it the aroma is quite beautiful with fabulous silage.
Tonie Silver wrote this in Sniffapalooza Magazine:
"My favorite potion from Roxana was a special commission per my request.
Hedera helix~ the mighty Ivy Dark green leaves, reddish,
yellowish pink vines, and that special sharp tang that ivy possesses.
This is the big, aged, thick leaved ivy of my Grandmother’s front porch,
climbing and twining in the shade.
Cool and crisp, an inviting home to innumerable dark creatures."
