We're calling this pendant 'Reflecting Pools' because of the neat effect we got when we added just a small bit of resin to the aluminum circles. The light bounces off the aluminum and resin and catches the eye. The pendant features Kingwood with Ebony stripes and a slice of Ebony in the middle. We gave it a slightly rounded shape to accentuate the grain. The pendant measures approximately 1 3/8" (3.5cm) x 7/8" (2.2 cm) x 1/2" (1.3 cm). This pendant hangs from a 18" (45.7 cm) sterling silver chain with a spring clasp.

Our finishing process starts with several stages of sanding. We then apply danish oil to each piece. This brings out the grain and color of the wood and helps protect the piece from moisture and wear. The piece is then waxed with a microcrystalline wax to protect this finish. We wax each piece several times, hand buffing it between each application.

Should your piece show signs of wear, buffing with an old t-shirt or other soft cloth should bring back the shiny glow it started with!
