This photo shows a black bicycle leaning against an open blue doorway of an ancient building in Southern India. This bicycle is typical of those that can carry entire families and are loaded down with goods going to market. It was taken in India in 2011. Bicycles there are work-horses and carry multiple generations of families, goods to market and kids to school.

It comes in a clear bio-bag that is certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute and is suitable for industrial and home composting. The bag biodegrades in 15 weeks at a commercial composting facility.
