The Placenta nourishes baby in womb for many months and is baby's first "home". Many mothers enjoy keepsakes such as placenta prints and umbilical cord keepsakes and this is another sweet memento of a mother's connection to her babe that she can wear with pride.
Pendants are 3/4th inches in diameter and are made of sterling silver disks cut and dished by hand in my shop, then filled with resin and placenta inclusions which are preserved in the resin similar to a fossil in amber.
In order to create this very special piece of jewelry a small sample of placenta must be shipped to my location. For the freestyle dehydrated placenta of any consistency must be sent. If you are unsure about how to ship, prepare or how to find someone to prepare a piece of your placenta please send me a message. It is also possible to send fresh or frozen placenta on ice but may not be very cost effective.
If your placenta has been encapsulated you simply need to send a single full capsule of ground placenta.
Additional inclusions such as a lock of hair, small dried flower/herb or other tiny object may also be added by request if provided with the placenta sample.
Each pendant is a work of art and pieces will vary widely depending on the consistency of the placenta provided, curing temperatures of the resin and creative flow. If you have any specific requests or desires please don't hesitate to contact me.
