The page is taken from an old b-format paperback so the piece measures approximately 14cm x 20cm (about 5.5 inches x 8 inches). There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.
The page is framed using eco-friendly wood and comes gift wrapped in a beautiful old road map.
The chunky black block frames are handmade in Northamptonshire by a local family business. There is no glass in these lightweight frames, so you can feel the lovely old page. I search old book shops and charity shops for pre-loved books to use in my art. The frames look great on bookshelves as they stand on their own, or can be hung flush to the wall.
