Part of my Supernatural themed set of fibers, "One Leather Jacket, One Sasquatch" is a blend of chocolate brown BFL wool, white Rambouliette wool, dark fawn alpaca, white Merino wool and a touch of white Firestar, carded together with just the right balance of smooth and texture. The inspiration for this batt set comes from episode 12 of season five of Supernatural, where a hotel clerk is describing the Winchester boys as one leather jacket and one Sasquatch. I chose natural colored fibers blended together to highlight the rugged hotness of Dean and Sam Winchester, and the tiny bits of sparkle were added as an homage to the fans of the show that won't let go of the Dean/Sam coupling fantasy. The last picture above is a shot of the always gorgeous Winchester brothers. The alpaca in this batt set was lovingly processed by me from the raw fleece. Due to the farm fresh nature of the ingredients to this batt set, there may be a very small amount of VM that can be picked out while spinning. These batts are carded so that they have a bit of texture but can also be spun smooth if desired.
Fiber content: BFL, Rambouliette, Merino, Alpaca, Firestar (nylon)
Weight: 3.2 ounces (2 batts)
I try to photograph the colors as true as possible, but the tones can vary based on monitor resolution.
All purchases from Things Liz Makes will be shipped within one business day. These batts will be shipped in a twist as shown in the photos above in order to protect them from rubbing during shipping. Just untwist them and they will puff right back up. All items come from a smoke free, pet friendly home. I do my best to keep all our items in sealed bags and containers to keep away any dander, but the occasional cat hair may work its way into some pieces. This fiber is not superwash and will felt. Hand wash only.
