Featured coin: South Carolina 2000 Quarter Dollar (25 Cents)
These cufflinks are new.
Starting in 1999, the US Mint changed the reverse design of the Washington Quarter Dollar coin. Each state designed its own quarter, and the special state quarters were issued at a rate of five new designs a year, for 10 years. The coins were issued in the order that each state joined the United States.
