This book is in very good condition. The binding is tight and the pages yellowed but without marks or tears. The cover has some corner and spine wear, a few green spots on the front cover, and a variation in color on the front engraving that appears to be a printing issue. The gold printing on the spine is still bright.
This edition was originally released in 1943 in a slip case with Jane Eyre. The 1945 edition (this one) differs with the use of an engraving on the cover, rather than a blank cover.
