This is a very fine soft merino wool that is Superwash = which means it does not felt. The roving is plant dyed with Onion Skins. The colors were pulled from the same pot of dye but vary in intensity and should not be viewed as a flaw. Plant dyeing, in my eyes, is not a science and I love the colors that are receive. All the colors are light tight and fixed with Alum and Cream of Tatar if needed. I have been plant dyeing for 5+ years and just love it. I also try to photograph the colors you are buying next to the other colors that I am selling so you have a better gauge of color. The wool for sale is only what is listed below.
**This listing is for 1 balls of yellow roving totaling 2.1 oz . I would call this a rich yellow with slight variations in tone. All items are photographed individually, I do not use stock photos.
