This mandala was created in May 2011 at a conference of 140 women San Francisco. The gathering was put on by the organization "Women of Spirit and Faith" to bring together a diversity of women to sit in circles, listen to each other, and form connections. I didn't tell them them were creating a mandala, but put out "pie slices" of black paper and pastel pencils for them to color in at their leisure throughout the first days of the conference. When all the pieces were filled in, I assembled them on the background and revealed the mandala onstage. They were amazed at what beauty they had created together - a visual representation of what we had created in our hearts.

20% of the proceeds will go to Women of Spirit and Faith.

The image is printed on high quality 8.5 x 11 photo paper and packaged with a cardboard backing in a protective sleeve. The actual image is approximately 6" x 6" on a white background. I have signed the back of the cardboard, although my contribution was providing the structure and tools for the women to let their creative juices flow.
