This dramatic design comes from my Katherine necklaces but here I've used a thicker thread.
It was hand shuttle tatted in high quality black cotton thread. I then sewed seed beads and three gemstone beads to the base - each side consists of five black seed beads and a black agate teardrop bead. For the middle one I used eight black seed beads and one black agate teardrop bead.
The 13 inch cord was also hand tatted in black cotton thread. At the ends are silver plated leather crimps with a silver plated bolt clasp. I've added a 50 mm extension chain to add to the length.
The tatted motif is 2 3/4 inches (70 mm) wide and roughly 3 1/2 inches (90 mm) long (including beads)
This comes in its own box with care instructions included.
