The body is upcycled from a multi-colored zig zag striped tshirt straight from my closet. The sides are upcycled from a vertically striped multi-colored fabric. There is a "610" hand painted in white on the left side of the bag. The lining is upcycled from a purple MTV tshirt that had the MTV logo on the inside.
"610" is the area code for the suburbs outside of Philadelphia known as the "Main Line."
Bag closes securely with a zipper that has strips of the vertically striped fabric on the sides. The zipper is gray with gray teeth and a gray zipper pull. The zipper is attached to the bag with silver rivets along the top of the bag.
The chains are gold and pink aluminum and are attached to the bag with gold rivets. The chain is approximately 21 inches long. Carry as a clutch with the chain hanging down or slip over your shoulder for a hands-free shoulder bag. You can even slip the chain over your wrist and hold onto the corner of the bag to turn it into a wristlet.
The sides are pinched with gold rivets to give the unique diagonal shape.
Bag is approximately 14 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches tall. The main body of the bag is approximately 11 3/4 wide.
The bag is interfaced yet soft. The sides and bottom are reinforced with extra strong interfacing so the bag will stand unassisted.
This bag is one of a kind and will not be recreated in the same painting and fabric.
