We smoothed all the edges so that it will not catch on your shawl.
We call this one "little" because it is significantly smaller and lighter than the 12 gauge version. It would work well on light, lacy fingering weight knitting. It is part of our "Little" series of pins we are working on.
The pin measures about 1 3/8 - 1 1/2" (3.5 - 3.9cm) long and about 7/8 - 1" (2.2-2.6cm) across the widest part. The stick pin part with the spiral on top that slips through the main design to secure the pin is about 2 1/8" (5.3cm) long.
It can be worn as a sweater brooch too!
This pin would work best on a knit or crocheted open weave type garment and is not intended for tightly woven cloth fabric.
All our jewelry comes wrapped in colorful tissue paper, in a nice gift box and tied with a bow ready for gift giving.
This pin is also available in light weight aluminum, brass, 12 gauge copper and sterling silver.

The pin in the pictures is a representative pin and not the exact same one that you will receive. We hand make each pin and try hard to make them look the same. There may be some minor differences but the one you will receive will look very similar to the one you see in the pictures.
The copper wire used in this pin is in it's natural form and not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidates over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny.
Here are some suggestions for how to shine up your copper jewelry using common household supplies like lemon juice or ketchup:
