The shape looks like a Boston type. It has an aluminum spring frame in the opening. It opens wide that makes it easy to access contents in the bag. Also it is secure when closed. The handles are long enough to hang the bag from your shoulder.
The lining is medium / heavy weight cotton canvas. I used a cheerful red bandana print for fun to see when you open it. There is a simple pocket inside.
I made a crochet wool flower corsage as an additional charm. It is removable so you can put it on your sweater, coat, hat and so on.
