I own some beautiful large vintage coat buttons (all once belonging to my mother or grandmother), and wanted to give them a prominent place in my button art creations. That's why I came up with these fabric leaf brooches. The leaf is sewn of double fabric and then decorated with one beautiful big button.
This brooch is made of a brown, black and orange striped fabric and a very old greenish gray, carved plastic button. The brooch / pin has a maximum length of about 11 cm or 4.3" and a maximum width of about 5 cm or 2".
