The patterns are so pretty, The base material of the dress is a silky nylon blend I believe. It is adorned with large autumn colored flowers and deep green leaves. The sheer overlay is a light tan color. The dress is accented by a peach cummerbund that adds a very flattering, slimming affect to the waist.
The neckline is a boat neck cut which will flatter your clavicle, especially when coupled with a strand of pearls!
The flaws that I can find are a couple of tiny areas where the fabric has been pulled and there are a couple of tiny holes. There is absolutly no way to see the flaw in the material while it is being worn and even difficult to find upon close inspection. The flaws are reflected in the price.
What the dress really needs is a wonderful crinoline shirt underneath to give it the sway and swagger of a real 1950s party dress! So be sure to check my shop in the Sleepwear/Slips section for amazing crinoline!
For an idea of the dress with the slip, check out this similar dress on "Timeless Vixen." (But I have to say, as beautiful as this sister dress is, I love this one a million times better! The sash makes the dress!) And, mine is a fraction of the price for a cuter cut! :)
