Southern Africa Map Vintage 1912 showing British, Portuguese and Dutch colonies. This is a beautifully detailed copper engraving map that was published by Justus Perthes (Gotta, Germany) as part of the Stieler hand Atlas. There is a small description of the map on the back with text in English, French, Spanish and Italian. The map itself is in German.

Size: 18.8 " x 15.5" (48 cm. x 40)

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The map has a creamy patina. The colors are bright and paper is high quality. The back is mostly blank but there is a small area printed, metioned above. The printing doesn't show through. Please look at the images carefully.

Sent to you in a flat envelope, folded in two (as it was in the original Atlas) protected with a cello sleeve and cardboard.
