The bow portion of the tie is made of off-cut or recycled leather. Some of it is from vintage clothing I've cut up, some from a local supplier who sells leather scraps. The bow is securely held together with a metal rivet that goes through all the layers. A metal bolo tie backing is attached to the bow at the back. The ties themselves are nylon/poly cording in black. The tips are one of the best parts of this piece, a good bolo needs a weighty tip for maximum swinging motion! This colour combo has a classic ball style silver metal tip.
As are all bolos this necklace is completely adjustible, and can be worn with the bow tight at the collar, swinging low as more of a necklace, or any length in between.
The string length is 30"
