Pink Dove Magnet with Breast Cancer Support Ribbon - Handpainted

I created this magnet especially for October's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. It's painted with various shades of pink and touches of white, with a slightly darker pink ribbon in the center. A pretty pink reminder of the importance of annual mammograms and monthly self-exams.

It's cut from 3/16" (5mm) birch plywood, painted with acrylics, and sprayed with a lacquer finish. It measures 2.5" x 2.5" (6.3cm x 6.3cm) and has a strong round magnet securely attached on the back with epoxy glue. It is dated and signed by the artist, Donna.

**a note about the date on the back...I'm apparently a year ahead and didn't notice until it was finished that I dated it 2012. oops.
