I love wicker purses in general, but when they come in black I think they're extra special. This 1950s vinyl wicker purse is a delight in deep black. It features leather strapping for the closure, a stitched leather handle, and leather straps on the base. The other hardware and grommets are a lovely brass. The purse opens smoothly to reveal a deep black interior with a hint of bright red lining showing for the change area.
This purse is in very good condition and closes tightly. The leather areas show some wear indicating this was a well loved purse (see photo). The brass also has age wear.
