PROCESS
I have sawed out the band of this ring from solid bronze sheet that is 1 mm thick and soldered it closed. The sterling silver circle is made from recycled metal. I have have heated a few small pieces of sterling silver into a granule, and then hammered it by hand until it became flat. I filed the edges slightly to round it out, but kept it slightly rough for an industrial feel. I cut the square out from solid sterling silver sheet, and then soldered both pieces on to the band. I polished the ring to a brushed finish, and then oxidised (blackened) it with an eco friendly oxidising solution. I polished the geometric pattern back to a silver brushed finish.
The band very dark with a hint of bronze showing through, a kind of black chocolate colour.

SIZING
The ring in the photo is a size 9 1/2 on the North American system, but I will make this custom for you.

SHIPPING
I will ship this item through Canada Post; it will come wrapped in non-tarnish tissue paper inside of a sturdy kraft paper recyclable box, tied with a fabric ribbon, and will be suitable for gift giving. This will come in a bubble padded envelope for extra protection. If you would prefer a courier, please let me know in the note to seller so that I can inform you of the additional charge.
