Great frame for a teen girl or a fun family photo!
I'm always drawn to picture frames. I like plain ones and fancy, old fashioned and funky. I could never pick just one style. And this one has some serious character, if I do say so myself.
I streteched some blue denim from some old jeans over the front and edges of a blank frame (I've always loved denim), then I added an orange cloth belt with a buckle on one side, and put thin orange ribbon around the inside edges of the picture opening to match. The surface (except the belt) is sealed with a glossy acrylic sealer for durability, but the texture of the denim still shows through.
I think it's a simple kind of design, not overly busy or "loud", yet it grabs your attention with it's energetic color combination and unique style.
There is glass covering the picture opening. The back has an easel for setting it up horizontal (see picture 3) or vertical (see picture 1,2). However, if you want it hung on a wall, there's only a hanger on one side, so it must be hung vertical. If you're going to hang it on a wall, I suggest putting a bit of sticky tack to the inside of the easel to hold it close to the back of the frame (so the easel doesn't push it away from the wall on one side.)
This is a very fun sort of frame--and one of a kind. Your picture is sure to stand out in it.
Weighs about 1 pound and 14.5 ounces.
