This quilt is perfect for a crib or up to a toddler bed even. Designed to handle the love and abuse of daily use
Made from Modas, Sunkissed collection. With a soft, white, tone on tone fabric from Moda for the square blocks centers.
The batting is Quilters Dream, the Backing is a Lime petal fabric from the sunkissed collection. The binding around the edges is lime green gingham.
This quilt is machine pieced and densely machine quilted with a lovely looping swirling stitch pattern, which adds to the durability of this quilt to ensure that it lasts for years and years. The binding is french fold, it's machine stitched to the front and hand stitched on the back. French fold binding is incredibly durable.
I also washed this quilt giving it a slightly puckered vintage look, while also softening the fabrics. The quilt can be washed on a delicate setting in cold water with mild detergent and tumble dried.
