They are between 4-5" long
The natural dyes and extracts I use are entirely safe and I do not use dangerous mordants. Alum and cream of tarter were applied first to enable the dye to attached to the fiber. This is called mordanting.
Earthhues has taken natural materials and created extracts that is easy to use. The mordanted locks are then steeped together with the extracts to produce this pleasant peach color. This produces locks that are not only safe to use for children's items but also safe for the environment.
The photos show the locks washed out of bit. This is truly a light peach color, but not that light!
Please buy all that you need as this colorway is NOT repeatable.
