The cookbook is divided into 15 chapters. The first chapter is "To Everyone Who Enjoys Eating Outdoors. Some more sample chapters are, "Equipment and Safety, Fireless Foods, Better For the Baking, A Whole Meal in a Hole, Ember Cooking, and Edible Wild Foods."
This cookbook has it's original metal spiral binding and it is in pretty good shape. There is some bending to the tabs that mark the beginning of each section of the book as well as some slight bending on the corners. There are some small tears on the top and bottom of the spine to the book but nothing that compromises the use of the book and these are not really that noticeable. Someone has written their name in pencil on the inside cover of the book as well.
My wife and I have enjoyed reading through some of the sections in this book and have wondered whether or not to just keep it on the shelf because it really does make a great display and conversation piece. However, not everything can stay here with us and book collecting is not something we are into at the moment.
