Great gift for a Tolkien fan or a literature buff!
The hair pins are 2" long and the bezel is 9/16". The pictured hair pins are an example - each hair pin is one of a kind and features original text from a vintage copy of the book. The main words (hobbit, bilbo) will be the same, but the specific portion of text will vary from the photo.
The glossy finish on the bobby pins is water resistant but not water proof. I would not recommend wearing them in the shower!
