African black soap bars is traditionally made from unrefined shea butter, virgin palm kernel oil, plantain leaves and cocoa pod ashes. Unrefined Shea Butter is very moisturizing and has many benefits for your skin. It is a natural source of vitamins A, E and cinnamic acid and helps your skin retain elasticity. Plantain leaves are a rich source of vitamins A & E and iron. Cocoa pod ashes create a natural lye. Because these ingredients are in their purest form they make for a very nourishing soap!
