This is the custom sidearm used by the one and only Admiral T.Nelson in "The Battle of Red Tide". This was designed and constructed by the famous pirate and adventurer as a weapon of last resort. This belt fed, eight barreled, steam powered, hand held, Gatling gun saw no use until a twilight battle on the eve of November 15th 1775 when the infamous pirate found himself surrounded on three sides by privateers working for the Spanish crown. Seeing no way out he ordered his ship to unload the full salvo into the ships on the port and starboard side while he stood on top of his dragon figurehead and unleashed the entire 80 round magazine into the remaining vessel. In a spectacular explosion of wood, canvas and flesh, this mystical weapon reduced an entire galleon to splinters and killed all on board. Sadly by this time boarders from the remaining ships had begun to overrun the crew of "The Leviathan" and the heat of the gun fused the firing mechanism, rendering it inoperable. The Admiral however would not be taken alive, He killed over 25 men by hand and broke the blade of his cutlass off in the chest of the last remaining Captain that dared board his beautiful frigate. He fought bravely to his last breath with naught but his broken cutlass and a bilge hook by his side. For hours after his death, his severed head continued to curse the motherless dogs that ended him, claiming that his descendants would avenge his death and keep his legacy alive.
Handmade from Brass, plastic, and a reclaimed gun handle, this is a beautiful addition to any steampunk or pirate outfit. The eight barrels rotate in the mounting and it has a nice weighty feel in your hand. The handle has been rubberized for comfort and it is covered with hand painted gold embellishments.
